The Pursuit of Home

Homeland Preservation — Museum Exhibit & Live Program

August 11, 2026 5:30 – 8:30 PM Harbor View Hotel · Menemsha Room Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard 50 – 60 guests
Prepared for BLK GRVTY — Chandra Fogg & Janay Queens Nazaire
The Concept

An evening that walks guests through the story.

BLK GRVTY has engaged Events by REW to produce the Martha’s Vineyard installment of “The Pursuit of Home” — a museum-style exhibit paired with a live program (speaker, fireside chat, and panel) in the Harbor View Hotel’s Menemsha Room.

Guests move through the room the way the campaign moves through its chapters — from arrival, into the archive, into the conversation, and back out into reflection. Cocktail hour and the exhibit share the room; the program is a single pause at its center.

The Evening

Run of show.

5:30 – 6:00 PM

Arrival & Exhibit Walk

Guests are welcomed, passed apps circulate, and the first pass through the museum-style exhibit begins.

6:00 – 7:15 PM

The Program

Speaker → Fireside Chat → Panel, staged at the far end of the room beneath the projection screen — one continuous arc, no reset.

7:15 – 8:30 PM

Golden Hour & Revisit

Cocktails resume; sliding doors open to the pool terrace; guests return to the exhibit at their own pace.

Vision Board

The room, the journey, the look.

The full creative direction — floor plan, guest flow, exhibit build, program staging, and style — carrying the “Pursuit of Home” campaign into a physical space.

Use the deck’s own controls (or arrow keys) to move through the slides.
Estimated Budget

Planning-stage estimate.

Figures reflect a guest count of 50–60 and the scope in the vision board. Final numbers firm up once vendor quotes are confirmed. Hotel-direct costs — room rental, food & beverage, and in-house furniture — are billed by Harbor View Hotel separately and are not included here.
